Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. We are can also take payments by phone, direct bank transfer, cheque or postal order or you can send your card information to us by email or post. For services, we accept payment before or after completion of the work, usually by cash, cheque or direct bank transfer.

When you receive confirmation of your order it is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and that a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or if we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Please note we reserve the right to vary designs, specifications, materials or packaging and may modify the goods or service without prior notification provided that performance and quality is not impaired.
Shipping And Handling At present we accept online orders for delivery to UK mainland only. If you are ordering internationally, contact us first so we can calculate your shipping costs. You can make your payment over the phone, by direct bank transfer or we can send you an invoice and you can pay by cheque.

All shipping and packaging charges are usually included in the total item cost and will be clearly stated if this is the case. For pool and snooker tables this term does not always apply as a many of our tables are custom-made to order, requiring a lead time of up to six weeks. If delivery is included or if a shipping option is available, this will apply to a ground floor location, UK mainland address only. Delivery to basement or first floor addresses, areas North of Glasgow/Edinburgh or for export will need to be quoted for separately.

All snooker and pool cues include a free delivery service to most UK mainland addresses. We will ship to UK Highlands & Islands within this service as well as Northern Ireland.

Dispatch dates do depend on current commitments and stock availability. For guaranteed despatch dates or premium delivery services please contact our sales team for further details. All goods are subject to availability. If we are unable to supply the goods stipulated we will notify you of this as soon as possible and refund any monies owed to you. All sizes, weights, colours and specifications provided on our website are approximate and may vary slightly.
Delivery Schedule You will usually receive your order within five working days once payment has cleared. International orders are generally received in less than 14 working days.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. Upon receiving home tables and any signed for or couriered items you must examine the item sufficiently before signing the delivery note. Please note that we will not accept any responsibility for any claims for damage after the delivery note has been signed.

Please note many of our larger and high value items such as tables and cues are couriered and require a signature upon delivery. If for any reason our courier tries to deliver your item unsuccessfully on two separate occasions we can only hold your item at the depot for a limited period, which you will be informed of. After this period has past and we receive no response from you, your goods will be returned to our warehouse. If you decide you want to cancel your order, we will refund you, minus the shipping charges, VAT and restocking charge of 10%. If you require us to redeliver your item on the third attempt, you will be responsible for all delivery charges incurred.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges All items are VAT inclusive with no exceptions. For orders made from the UK or the European Union, the current VAT rate of 20% applies. Please note countries outside the EEC may have to pay import duty.
Credit Card Security We use the highest level of bank-approved security to process your payment. Our system is 100% PCI DSS compliant. Actinic Payments meets all current banking security standards including PCI DSS, which is now a requirement for all UK businesses to accept credit card and debit card payments.

When your order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer and are not held in clear text on any website.
Privacy Policy Snooker Direct do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on our website to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
Returns Policy We accept returns within seven days of purchase if there is a genuine fault with your item. We cannot issue refunds if there has been a mistake on your part. Please note all images on this site are for illustrative purposes only and some models may vary slightly. All returned goods must be in resaleable condition, unused and in the original packaging. If you have a problem with your order please contact us by email or telephone quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid upon receipt of the returned goods within 30 days.

We will not accept responsibility for lost or damaged items in transit. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or not as described.

All personalised items and customised tables are excluded from our returns policy. All leisure timing meters should be installed by a qualified electrician - we cannot issue refunds for damage caused by incorrect installation or tampering.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
